John Kortman and Julio Castelo, are official Journeyman Electricians!
Tonight, these two young men graduated from the Independent Electrical Contractors of Arizona Apprenticeship Program. The program includes 4 years of rigorous electrical education in the evenings as well as full-time, on-the-job training.
Additionally, we are incredibly proud to learn that they placed in 2nd and 3rd place respectively, in the Annual IEC Wire-Off Competition. It is an impressive feat, as they have graduated from a class of 28 talented electricians. With this education, both men have advanced in their profession at Kortman Electric, John to a Construction Foreman and Julio to a Solar Service Technician.
