COVID-19

Today our world faces a significant challenge. With the exposure of the COVID-19 virus on the rise, we find strength and support when we come together and work towards quick & effective solutions.

Kortman, Inc. is committed to keeping our team healthy and safe. Just as important is the safety of our clients, industry partners, and communities. We are committed to helping our nation slow the progression of this virus so that a vaccine can be achieved and return our lives back to normal.

Despite the day-to-day changes we all face today, we remain committed to provide outstanding service to all we work with. Here are some of the steps we are taking to avoid and minimize exposure for everyone involved:

  1. All non-employee visits to the office and jobsites have been suspended until further notice. If special circumstances arise requiring this, prior authorization is needed from Management
  2. Several of the office employees are working from their residence. For those still working at the office, we have increased efforts to provide a safe environment. We have promoted the use of technology for ongoing communication to remain uninterrupted & effective
  3. Several policies were implemented at the office in regards to personal hygiene and work environments, including: frequent & thorough handwashing, maximum group size of four in the Training Room, minimum 6’ separation in all conversations, suspended all regularly scheduled group meetings, and provided disinfections solutions and cleaning supplies.
  4. We are working with our field teams to provide hygiene options around their work environment and to help ensure we are supporting the clients efforts and policies in regards to the COVID-19 epidemic

We will continue to monitor this ongoing crisis through: CDC website, government communication & policy, healthcare providers, and other trusted sources of information. Adjustments will be made to help ensure Kortman is doing everything possible to help our employees, clients, communities, and nation bring this crisis to an end.
